Nothing really “essay” about this “photo essay,” but that’s the category I came up with a few years ago for these posts where I dump photos, so there we go. These photos were taken by making my poor friend very uncomfortable in her kitchen as I shoved my camera a few centimeters away from her eyes and mouth. Then she got the bright idea to make the cactus undergo said scrutiny instead.
These photos are done with a lens that I ripped out of a lomographic camera and taped into a body cap for my SLR. I love that lens.
