Vicenza is a small city in north-eastern Italy, pretty close to Venice. It’s also the city in Italy I’ve visited the most, at this point, because a few of my friends live there. It’s a beautiful place with a medieval downtown, nice walkways, some rivers, lots of fog. There’s a tiny social center with vegan dinners and radical events. Of course, I got stared at a lot in Vicenza, but I get stared at a lot everywhere I go.
I actually think I get stared at more in Italy than anywhere else I’ve been. Maybe less so in Rome. Sometimes I’m tempted to say “boo!” but I always hold my tongue.
Anyway, a few handheld night photos (I love my new camera!) follow after the break:
Very nice! — Phil the Geek (an italian anarchic boy; near Vicenza) :))
