My partner Enola is traveling the US on a zine-reading tour for her amazing (and prolifically-produced) zine No Gods, No Mattress. She discusses the travails of her travels as a woman alone with a frankness and clarity that I find breathtaking. Here are her tour dates so far:
-december 20: cyberpunk apocalypse, pittsburgh, pa.
-december 21: big idea books, pittsburgh, pa.
-december 28: book thug nation, brooklyn, ny.
-december 30: red emma’s, baltimore, md.
-january 3: firestorm cafe, asheville, nc.
-january 5: end of the line cafe, pensacola, fl.
-january 7: civic media center, gainseville, fl.
-january 11: iron rail, new orleans, la.
-january 14: sedition books, houston, tx.
-denver, co, january 16 or 17? ….
-january 20: red and black cafe, portland.

Doth this zine be availabl0l for perusing via interbit suh?
No, sadly, it is not. Well, sadly from my point of view, but not Enola’s. It is available in many fine zine establishments. Not sure if they’ve got it at Left Bank Books or not.
is there anywhere in austin i can get a copy? or maybe order one from enola?
also, you should consider installing the “subscribe to comments reloaded” plugin for wordpress, so we can know when people reply to our comments!
hey matt graven and lord teh!
i don’t have [m]any connections in seattle, so ngnm does not exist there that i know of.
and in austin, there are some issues for reading at the public library but none for sale anywhere.
i will send to anyone who sends $1 and 3 stamps to me at:
p.o. box 3936
berkeley, ca 94703
a copy of the current issue and a nice letter at least.
May I ask if you’d be willing to do this for someone outside the continental limits? I am in the UK and can’t really get any US stamps however I am happy to get some money to you to pay for these.
very excited about this… got a great string/brass band and some local ‘zinesters on the undercard for you here in (e)N.O.L.A… as long as Paul doesn’t flip his lid
