I get pretty excited about anarchists that are good at doing things outside the usual anarchist world (bikes, vegan cooking, train-hopping, old-timey music, dance parties, zines, and punk bands). Not that I dislike those things, I just get excited when I meet anarchist neuroscientists or anarchists old enough to be my grandmother. Anyhow, I just discovered a blog dedicated to DIY autism care, written by an anarchist in SLC: Short Break.
I almost peed my pants reading that just now.
This is amazing. It makes me want to go to SLC to meet this person and this kid. It also makes me miss work more than I usually do this time of year.
